Make Your Own Belt (3-hour introductory course)

£120.00

In this shorter belt making course you will be guided through the process of making a fully functional belt made from British produced leather. You will be provided with a choice of colours of leather in advance of the course and will choose your buckle, keeper and thread colour on the day. You can choose to make a 1” or 1 ¼“ width belt.

You will learn to measure for a belt and then using the belt strip provided you will cut this to your correct size. We will then guide you through the steps and stages in creating your belt, including, preparing the leather strip and hand stitching the buckle and keeper.

Please note that in order to be able to complete your belt in the 3 hours we will use some pre-prepared components. There will still be plenty of opportunity for you to practice however.

All courses are held at Stratton Village Hall, Stratton, Dorchester, Dorset. DT2 9WG.

All courses are run on-demand. Make Your Own courses are available on Saturday/Sunday or on weekday evenings. Please contact us directly to arrange a suitable date.
